Record Breakers
A trio of Preppers claimed new school athletic records this season, with two achieving new state records!
Thomas Lodowski ’27 set a new Ohio state record in the 600m with a time of 1:21.22 at the 2026 Spire Invitational (breaking the school record at the same time). The previous state record had stood for 15 years.
Thomas also owns the school record in the outdoor 800m (1:52:65), which he clocked at the OHSAA State Championship meet in 2025, and the school record in the Indoor 800 (1:56:26)
In indoor track, Nathanaël Honvou ’28 cleared 14 feet in the pole vault to break the indoor school record by 1.5 feet. He ranks among the top 15 sophomores in the country in the event.
Paul Moody '26 delivered a record-breaking performance at the OHSAA Northeast DII District Swimming Championships, setting two district and two school records in the 100-yard butterfly (48.27) and 100-yard backstroke (48.10). His backstroke time also established the new Ohio state record!
