Jon Bridge was named Head Squash Coach at University School in 2007. He also serves as the Assistant Head of School for Advancement at US.
The first high school squash program in Ohio, US has experienced outstanding success under the tutelage of Coach Bridge. In 2023, University School captured the Division III National Championship, this title follows the Division V National Championship in 2016 and Division VI National Championship in 2014. Several of Mr. Bridge’s players have gone on to compete at the college level after garnering impressive accolades during their careers at US.
Prior to US, Mr. Bridge served as the Head Squash Coach at Denison University where he started the program in 1995. During his time at Denison, the program achieved outstanding success, including five top-10 finishes among all colleges and universities in the nation. Additionally, he earned the Intercollegiate Coaches Award in 1997, and Denison won the Division II Hoehn Trophy in 2002 after an outstanding postseason run.
Mr. Bridge earned his bachelor of arts from Denison University. He and his wife, Mary Kay, have two children: Anna and Chris '22.
