Tennis Team Reaches Final Four

Tennis had a banner year that included a 9-match win streak through April and early May, and ended their season 14-2. The team shut out many opponents during the regular season, including Hawken, Gilmour, and Hudson.

Varsity tennis, which does not have an OHSAA team tournament, instead plays in the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association Team Tournament (OCTA). The Preppers advanced to the Final Four of the OCTA tournament, posting wins vs. Avon and Massillon Jackson before falling to perennial powerhouses Cincinnati St. Xavier and St. John's Jesuit.

The OHSAA does mount a singles and doubles state tournament. After navigating through sectional and district play, the US doubles team of Lucas Weidenbecher '26 and Jack Levy '29 placed sixth overall in the state!

Charlie Christopherson '26 served as team captain. Head Coach Adam Atwell was assisted by Ben Martin ’22 and Nikki Mercer.

Congratulations to the team on a memorable season!
