The US Varsity Squash team are national champions!
Congratulations to the team for capturing their fourth national title, and their second in Division III, on February 23, 2025 in Philadelphia.
High school squash has seven divisions of championships. The divisions are based on performance throughout the season, rather than the size of a school. US Squash has previously won Division V, IV, and III championships.
This year, the team was seeded 8th in the Division III tournament. The team decisively marched through the bracket, beating 9th seed St. Mark’s School in Massachusetts, #1 seed St. Paul’s in Baltimore, and 5th seed St. Christopher’s of Richmond, Virginia to reach the finals.
In the finals, the team upset #2 seed Conestoga High School 4-3. Conestoga is often the highest-ranked public school in the country.
Congratulations to Coach Bridge, Coach Mueller, and US Varsity Squash: Captains Adam Sands ’25, Iggy Lahorra ’26, and Dan Miklus ’26, and team, William Henry ’27, Will Boyce ’27, Will Cody ’27, Rey Pardeshi ’25, Rosco Tin ’26, and Dylan Vaidya ’27.
