Track & Field Completes Stellar Season
After finishing as Division I District Runner-up for the second year in a row, the team sent a record number of nine athletes to the DI State Championship – the third-highest number of qualifying athletes of any Division I program in the State. The five events is the second-most in school history.
At the State Championship, Fanon Miller '23 set a personal best and finished on the podium in 8th place of 18 in the discus, Brian Kellon '23 finished 10th of 18 in the long jump, and the 4x100 team of Danny Napoli '22, Andrew Merritt '24, Brian Kellon '23, and Richard Clark '22 set a school record with a time of 42.05 at the meet and finished 8th in the finals.
Additionally, the team had six All-Ohio athletes and three Academic All-Ohio honorees.
