A Trio of High-Jumpers
Multi-sport athlete Justin Belcher '24 is featured in The News-Herald for a high jump achievement along with teammates Brian Kellon '23 and Andrei Radjenovic '23.
Justin competes in two varsity sports, basketball and track & field, and his "surprise" jump of 6 feet, 2 inches at the Ranger Invitational at North High School on April 21 caught the attention of reporter Chris Lillistrung.
"With Radjenovic having cleared 6-4 already this spring, Kellon 6-3 and, now, Belcher 6-2, US has three of the top five high jumpers in The News-Herald coverage area to date in 2023. Having a trio of performers with 6-2 plus ability makes them all at minimum regional-contending caliber, albeit out of a formidable Division I Riverside District field."
